DSCF0544I was walking in Silverlake, CA with some friends when I noticed Imogen while she was locking the doors to the business she manages. I waited for her to come back from her break and asked if she would let me take a photo of her. She didn’t hesitate and let me move around to get the light coming through the window just right. She was very understanding and comfortable in front of the camera. She was named after a character in the Shakespearean play, Cymbeline. The victorian printer misspelled Innogen as Imogen. The name means fair maiden. Thank you for your story and your patience.
